We are ready to wrap up our time in central Florida and move on to the West Indies... or close enough. Meanwhile we've learned that Joseph is really Josephine, and Buddy is definately not her grandpa. They do a little head bobbing greeting and go down and share the burrough for awhile. While this entirely grosses out our pre-teen, she admits it would be nice if we were gonna be around for the eggs...
The weather has turned to "flood watch" the last few days, and we've enjoyed some thunderstorms and a lot of rain. Sunday marks Cheryl's 38th birthday and our departure to the Bahamas. Again, it feels strange to be leaving this park... the friends, the Bingo, the shuffleboard, the pool... the woodcarving class where our new friends keep proving "old people really are quite nice."
Stay tuned for much more to learn about Florida. Did you know the Florida Keys suceeded from the union for awhile when our government tried to close down the tourist highway? We're gonna go find out what all the hype is about.
Til soon..... Kaler 5!
