Glacier National Park, part 1

We made it to the park at about 4:pm, just enough time to set up camp and lets the kids all hike up to the camp store. Everybody seemed to have souveniers on their mind!!

We camped at Apgar. It is right on the edge of Lake McDonald on the west side of the park.

The kids shopped (man, it is fun to see how these kids pick out souveniers!! Only Naomi and Keegan were the wise ones wanting to save their money... ) and then it was out to the lake to throw rocks. I think they could have stayed there for hours. I think we did....
Of course it turned into baseball. They were all lined up batting the rocks in the water. Later, RJ showed them really how to do it!!

Later that evening, we enjoyed smores (thanks Beckers!) appreciated the sunset and ....

A good nights rest. Amen!

Love the pics of both your families the most, closely followed by Mr. Billy Goat Gruff. Awesome pics. Everyone appears to be having a fantastic voyage with lovely smiles beaming from each face. Thanks for the updates and pictures that help us not miss you so much out west.
