Sunrise on the Eastern Seaboard
From the rising of the sun....
We got up one morning to catch the sunrise on the highest point on the Eastern Seaboard, Cadilac Mountain. You can drive up the mountain and catch the sunrise sitting on some of the exposed granite rock. For most of the year, this is the first place in America that sees the sun.
We then had a full day of boating, hiking and getting stuck in the quake ooze (next blog....) and headed back to our camp site....
AKA "Winnie", our happy Winnebago home! She still sits out front as guest quarters. Come and visit!
Shenandoah, 2009
Our goals are changing to see every national park in America. So much to learn, and the rangers are amazing!
New York, 2008
We would love to also see every baseball stadium in America. Here we are catching the Mariners play the Mets, when Felix Hernandex hit his grand slam homerun.
Mt. Rushmore, 2007
The first time we drove across the country we drove our van. We made it to DC in 5 days but still got to see plenty of sights.
